Property documents: a simple record of your home, house and land

“Where are the papers for the flat?” is a hard question to answer quickly, even for yourself. Property documents usually sit in a folder you open once every few years. If you're travelling, in hospital or suddenly not there, your family should know what to look for and where.

In one note, write down

  • the address and type of property: flat, house, land, garage,
  • a photo of the first page of the deed, lease or purchase agreement,
  • where the original is kept.

If the property is registered, add the title number from the land registry documents. It lets anyone check who owns the property online, without a trip to an office.

You also get a quick overview of what you own, without digging through folders. If this helps, consider recommending LegacyApp to someone close.

In the app: Assets, Investments, Savings, then Real Estate.
